These 2-hour workshops show the simple tips and tricks to complete essential tasks in beekeeping and apiary management. Take a couple of hours out of your busy life, and transport yourself into a bee suit, where you will have the opportunity to make splits, use your hive tools, light your smoker, and get your questions answered. DETAILS: Bring your own protective equipment, water, notebook, and hat. Pack a snack, and prepare for practical experience, and avid notetaking for key tips and practices for compressing your colonies, and pulling honey including using a bee escape, fume board, or brushing methods. Use a refractometer, and learn more about the steps to extract from your home. Feel prepared to harvest your honey with ease and organization.
